In 1997,
Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia, needed a redesigned
web-site. This image is the home page of the new design.
Each sub-image was selected based on its symbolic representation
of the section it led to, and each section was designed to focus
on the particular types of audiences that visit a University
web-site.
Firstwave had
already had their website designed by a company that specialized
in creating new brand identities. Besides general site
maintenance, my main contributions to the image to the left
include a redesign top navigation bar and the introduction of
the FirstLinks navigation aid.
Mall of the World
was intended to be an early "Wal-Mart" for the web. The
project involved both the design and development of the shopping
cart and product management software and the design of the user
interface. The image to the left is a late-stage mockup of
the site's design.
AlphaDraconis is a
concept-site providing a forum for publishing genre fiction.
The project is still in development. The image to the left
is the home page to the pilot site.
Clashion is a
concept project, designed to be a new-media general-audience
publication. This project is also still under development.
The image to the left is the home page.
