Software Security Engineer

Contract • U.S. Based - Remote

We are seeking conversations with mid- to senior-level contract-based Software Security Engineers with hands-on software development experience and a strong understanding of secure software practices. This role partners closely with engineering teams to identify, assess, and remediate security risks throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include performing secure code reviews, managing and interpreting SAST/DAST results, identifying vulnerabilities in applications and APIs, supporting remediation efforts, and helping integrate security into CI/CD and development workflows. The ideal candidate understands modern application architectures, common attack patterns, and secure coding principles across cloud-native and web-based environments.
